Bra Recycling Helps Tornado Victims: MyFoxPHOENIX.com
Residents recovering from the big twister that hit Joplin, Missouri, have lost everything. But on Thursday, we found another way for valley residents to help tornado victims. FOX 10's Kristin Anderson has that story.
One thing many victims of domestic violence need are bras. As one Valley woman discovered, the need in shelters was overwhelming. So she started a company that would fill the need while also putting a little extra in her bank account. Cronkite News reporter Courtney Godfrey explains.
Now you can put that old or unused bra to good use.
We're taking a closer look at a Gilbert organization that collects bras and gives them to women in need.
FOX 10's Alexis DelChiaro talks to Elaine Mitchell about how people can make donations and a contest to create a T-shirt that will get the word out on bra recycling and domestic violence.
